ENVISION: Branding | Lindsay Fisher

These are some sample images of the process that went into creating a visual identity for an organization that facilitates story telling workshops for women with disabilities and differences. The organization’s mission is to change perspectives and stereotypes through art based interventions and self-representation.

My process focused on exploring visual ways of representing disability in a unique and unexpected light. The imagery I chose specifically reflect the subject’s dynamic personality and spirit as significantly influenced by their disability as opposed to “in spite of” their disability.

I custom designed the word mark as a bold script for an intimate and personable expression. The personable feel of the hand scripted word mark is emphasized when combined with a modern sans serif font that is used for copy.
